Electrical and Components Powder Coating
Powder coating is an advanced coating method of finishing a product with a decorative as well as protective layer. Almost any metal can be powder coated. The end result is a durable, uniform, high-quality and attractive finish. This holds true with electrical components as well.
Electrostatic powder coating uses charged particles to allow for more efficient painting of a work piece. The paint is a mixture of finely ground particles including resin and pigment, which is sprayed onto a work piece and then accelerated through an electrostatic charge.
Advanced Surface Finishing is a TIGER Drylac Approved Applicator certified. We have the capability of manufacturing and applying a wide range of coatings on a number of different applications. Our materials include PTFE, PFA, FEP, nylon, polyester, epoxy, and polyeurethane.
We can powder coat a wide variety of assemblies and parts, as well as fabricating electrical insulation thicknesses of up to 16 mils. Stacking, coating, bonding, applying electrostatic powder coatings from 0.002 in. to 0.005 in.thickness.
