The Powder Coating Process

The powder will melt into a liquid and bond to the wheel before hardening over the entire surface. Instead of just creating a top layer like standard paint, powder coat in essence becomes a part of the rim which makes it much more durable and resistant to wear. Topped with a clear-coat finish, these powdered rims and wheels will withstand scratches and chips from rocks and debris encountered in travels.
