For years if not decades a car, truck, or motorcycle was never truly customized until chrome rims and wheels were added. The Powder Coating Process

Powder coating rims and wheels involves applying a powder to the features and then baking it in at roughly 400°. The powder will melt into a liquid and bond to the wheel before hardening over the entire surface. Instead of just creating a top layer like standard paint, powder coat in essence becomes a part of the rim which makes it much more durable and resistant to wear. Topped with a clear-coat finish, these powdered rims and wheels will withstand scratches and chips from rocks and debris encountered in travels.

Why Powder Coating Has Become So Polular

Powder coating is the fastest growing finishing technology in North America, representing roughly 10% of all industrial finishing applications.
